Hi. I know this is an old conversation, but maybe someone will reply. I am applying for a TS for one of the agencies. I submitted my SF-86 in August 2018, had a poly and a security interview in Sept 2018 and around the same time my employers and friends references were contacted. I had to include some foreign references to verify me going to school there. That person still wasn’t contacted (it’s been a year) neither were my neighbors. I’m sure they would have told me if they were. Do all of the references on SF-86 need to be contacted by BI?

Here is my time line.
I have received public trust security clearance.
11/2/20- Job offered/accepted
11/25/20- Fingerprints conducted
11/27/20- Submitted EQIP
12/21/20- EQIP cleared, interim public trust granted. Final clearance ongoing but cleared to begin work.
1/4/21- tentative first day of work.
