Hello all, I have recently started a new job with DOD that requires a TS clearance. I currently have an interim clearance while I wait for the actual clearance. I’ve never had a government background for a TS before so I’m new to the process. I have had my interview months ago and from what I’ve read it can take months to years to actually get the clearance. I guess my question is, how will I know my clearance has been granted (or not)? I really enjoy my new job but kinda feel like I’m purgatory until i get my clearance. Thank you in advance
Your FSO (security officer) at your job will be notified. I’d check with them periodically.
