Hey, I got an offer and still waiting to fill out my clearance paperwork. I have parents that illegally migrated to the USA. I’m a citizen but will this affect my ability to get a clearance?
Not that alone. No. Just be sure to answer all questions honestly.

It could be if your offer is with DHS/CBP/ICE.
I think in that case it would more likely be a suitability issue rather than an inability to get a clearance, wouldn’t it? Of course, the end result would be the same.
