Inactive to Active clearance process expectations

Hello, what kind of impression will a potential employer have if they see that my TS/SCI is inactive but within the 24 month time period since it was last active?

In addition to it being inactive, if I need a re-investigation for my TS/SCI, how does that change the situation?

An employer only looks at whether they can get you into a cleared status as quickly as possible, and that will be decided by DSS for contractors. If you were in a position that did not need a clearance then it is not viewed as negative.
