I pretty much check usajobs daily for an opening in my area. I’ve ran into a couple on the fed side while out in the field and they seem to love it. I’m prior military and I’ll be coming up on a year as an FI in a couple months and I feel I would like the fed side of things better. Are there any tips on getting my foot in the door to the other side?
I’d hurry up, I retired with a TS/SCI took 1-2 years after retirement to get situated and take care of health and my clearance is gone (wasn’t expired as I just had it redone prior to retirement) but got a loss of jurisdiction. When I went to apply for a OPM investigator position they wanted to start from scratch with clearance and most companies don’t want to do that.
