I am a little over 8 months into a ts/sci with poly for an ic (not a contractor). I received the following email: “In order to complete your security processing, an in-person Interview is required.” I believe I am in adjudication but I’m not really sure what to expect from this meeting.
Any thoughts on what this meeting may be about?
This sounds like part of the background investigation process. I am going to guess you already completed the poly if you think you are in adjudications? Have your references been contacted?
Yes @xXGunner989Xx . I tend to think this is discussing poly results. I met my investigator near my home but they are flying me in for this meeting.
I agree. I have read online this happening to folks who just need another security interview to go over something on the poly, clarification or what not. They wouldn’t be flying you in to deny you, imo.

Sounds to me like you may be getting a psychological interview. Not sure why they didn’t tell you though.
Did they give you the address for location? That can tell you alot.
That info is not classified and certain buildings are used just fr processing al all agencies these days.
I already met with a shrink and my hr poc has confirmed that I am cleared medically. And the address was the facility that I had my med and poly done
No worries. Be consistent in answers with what was already disclosed. Likely adjudicator wants to close out file. I expect clearance follows quickly.
