Moderate Background Check - Debt

I am in the process of getting hired and am in the middle of a public trust background check. It is considered to be a moderate risk level clearance. I am slightly worried about my debt, and while I have a Good to Excellent credit score, I have around $3900 in student debt, and about $1500 in credit card debt. I have never missed a payment and I am in good standing. I am just wondering how strict this process is on debt; is what I mentioned grounds for me to not obtain the needed clearance?

Public Trust investigations are only worried if you are paying your debts on time.

You don’t get into debt to income ration until you have a more sensitive clearance/sponsor.
