New job, new Sf86 with CE?

I’m currently enrolled in the CE program with my current employer, but trying to crossover to a new company. My last BI was in 2016 will I need to complete a new SF86?

I do have a foreign national spouse was reported to the customer in 2019 which the new company confirmed is in the system, has his permanent residency card and just waiting for eligibility to apply for citizenship in 6 months. Will this be a cause for denial?

You may be required to fill out a new SF-86 but that does not necessarily mean there will be an investigation. Sometimes they just want an updated form and if nothing has changed they don’t do a new investigation… at least that’s the theory with CE.

However, the foreign spouse issue may trigger an investigation. Probably not a cause for denial but possibly lead to a longer investigation/adjudication depending on the agency involved.

Another question. I had another company come back and say my crossover failed because my FSP was not eligible. Do you have an idea on what that means or why it would say that? Security at my current job said everything’s active and they see no issues.

Too old? Wrong Agency? You took it on a Tuesday? Who knows.
