First time poster here, not quite sure if this is the right section. I’m a senior in college looking for jobs with NGOs and was just wondering if there were any cleared job opportunities in that world. Any links or suggestions would be a huge help!
Non-Governmental Organizations? Never heard of any requiring a clearance.
Closest thing I can think of is contractors working for the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Sometimes they have to have access to an embassy so they get some kind of clearance. But I wouldn’t exactly call that an NGO. USAID works with NGOs sometimes to execute assistance programs but I don’t think those folks require unescorted access to the embassy.
The NG in NGO identifies it as operating independently from any government. The government issues clearances so you can probably figure out why there arent any of these type of jobs.
