TS cleared and currently at DoD, looking at USAID and State Department jobs. I would appreciate anyone’s insight if they have gone through the clear transfer process at other agencies to know if the BI and entire process starts from scratch or if an inter agency agreement between these agencies and DoD exists to facilitate the clearance transfer.
The general consensus here seems to be that State rarely seems to grant reciprocity for DoD clearances, even though they are supposed to and certainly could. Hopefully your case will be different and you will not have to start all over.
