NSA no investigator reaches out

I ask for an update at least once a month and get told the same thing. That I’m still processing for the position. Once that’s done then they schedule the necessary appts.
For context:

July 23: Applied
July 23: Interview shortly after
Aug 23: Sent HR forms
Sept 23: Received CJO & accepted
Oct 23: Completed SF-86 and was approved 2 weeks later
Mar 24: New recruiter assigned

Crickets ever since

Like many have said here, you’re unlikely to hear anything until either cleared or denied. It usually takes at least a year (from when you submit SF86) for TS. So if you hear anything in less than a year, it’s probably bad news. So again, “no news is good news.”

I’m a little over 8 months in. Already completed BI, psych, & poly. Recently had recruiter reach out to me asking if my resume is still the same with my current job. I think this is a good sign?

Your doing better than me my friend

What field was your job in? Linguist, engineering, software, something else?

Something else. Prefer not to say.

I have applied on engineering

All good, your answer was clarification enough!

I’m glad to hear things might be moving again.

This is pretty wild. I have only had a CJO for a few months and I was contacted a month after I submitted my SF-86 to schedule my poly/psych.

16 months. No poly or psych, only one meeting with an investigator since CJO.

16 months wtf, did your file fall behind a filing cabinet or something? Thats wild.

I follow up with the recruiter once a month and I’m told, “you’re still processing with security.” Absolute joke.
