Alright title says it all. Yeah I own up to it cause I screwed up. I applied for CBP and i filled out my SF-86 and put two bullcrap work histories but I was actually unemployed, I did it out of embarrassment. I got back the form to fix some other changes, what the hell should I do? Everything else on the form is perfect. Thank you
You will need to change it since you are required to list all periods of employment AND unemployment. Make sure your time periods match your resume. The BIs will find it anyway and probably confront you with it. I don’t know how it will impact your chances but coming clean ahead of time has to be better than being caught red-handed. Best of luck.
Change it now because your employment records will be pulled and the clearance denied for lying.
