RE: ADC NTS training--what does "Option 2" mean?

Ok, so I recently obtained a 1099 BI job with ADC. I completed their initial BI investigator training and am now waiting for NTS training. The correspondence I received today mentioned that I qualify for “Option 2” which is 24 hrs of NTS training virtually.

Is “Option 2” a good thing? How long is NTS for most folks? Do you think this would be 3 full days of training via my computer? I have so many questions…

Thanks for any replies

I believe option 2 is the training, then test out, for previously trained investigators (fed/contractor). If you have never worked federal background investigations, you might want to do the full course to ensure you at least get the “basics”.

Thanks. Apparently I did ok on their own BI training portal so they informed me of this “option 2” training. I was fully expecting to spend months doing NTS training. Still not totally sure what option 2 means other than 24 hours of training required (like how many days, hours per day, etc). Guess I’ll eventually find out! Thanks again for your reply!

So did you complete all the training?
I’m a retired 1811 thinking about applying I saw ADC had a posting for my area.
Wondered if it was worthwhile. I really only want to work a few days a week, I have other stuff going on.
