I was informed that my security clearance has been fully adjudicated and granted. However, when the database is checked, there is no record of it appearing. I was also told that this might be due to the fact that I have not yet been briefed. Could you please confirm if a briefing is required before my clearance will appear in Scattered castles. This is for a TS SCI with CI Poly.My military reserve commander informed me that no information appears under my record. I wanted to confirm whether this discrepancy might be due to the fact that I have not yet been officially briefed in connection with my defense contractor position. Is there a way to go around this any information would be greatly appreciated.
I am also curious about this. I thought that SC only kept track of people’s current accesses, which would support your thoughts. However some other people here have reported seeing investigation/eligibility info in that database.
I was in the reserves some years ago and my briefings did not show up there, they had to pass clearances the old fashioned way. When somebody looked in “castles” they saw my contractor accesses and I did not have the same series of letters after my name as a contractor that I did as a reservist. But this was some time back now…
Myself and a few others have been adjudicated and had no problems being found in SC. But it seems to be different for everyone for some reason.
Were you already briefed in before being shown in scattered ? I was told I may not show up because I haven’t been briefed yet I’m not sure how accurate that is.. I was adjudicated 3 weeks ago
No, I wasn’t. Are you sure it’s not in DISS instead?
I asked the same question previously and was informed that it falls under “scattered castles.” Is there typically a specific amount of time after adjudication for it to appear in the system? Also, was your case for the same clearance level mentioned in my post?
I don’t know if there’s a set amount of time. This was for FS, not CI poly.
