Been working 2 jobs for 5 weeks.
job 1: W-2, private sector
job 2: W-2, company that contracts to the government. Wants me to get an SF-85P public trust.
Neither job is aware of the dual employment status. I plan to resign from 1 of them.
concern: The investigation process will see the overlap and reject the public trust based on that. (will they even care?) I’d prefer to keep Job 2 and resign from Job 1, but if I do that, worst case: public trust comes through a year later with ‘denied’, I now have no job.
thoughts on which to resign from?
