When filling out sf-85 I assume I need to list all current jobs and every previous not just 1 for each time period up to 5 years, if I were to have had overlapping previous jobs would this be an automatic reason for disqualification? Will they call the previous jobs and potentially ask about the other one worked during that time? If I were to have another job presently are they going to call and potentially reveal that I am applying for a new job and then I lose my current job and get denied public trust and don’t get the new role either?
Yes, you are to list every employment that occurred within the time frame. Even if that job was for one day, a few hours, etc. Or if you have overlapping jobs, all need to be listed. Or if you’re self employed, on the side, part time, while working a full time or other part time job. I cannot come up with a reason overlapping jobs would be an automatic disqualifier, it’s quite common. Bear in mind I’m not an adjudicator.
Depending on the level of the investigation, your current employment may be contacted, either via mail, or phone/in person. If you read the pages of instructions, I believe it states that your current employer/supervisor may be contacted.
