When I first completed my security clearance paperwork, I rarely communicated with most of my relatives overseas and didn’t do foreign travel for years, so I only listed the few cousins and aunts I regularly kept in contact with.
I’m planning to travel back to india and will likely visit my grandmother again while I’m there. However, I don’t regularly speak to her, and don’t personally keep in touch with her. I mainly visit her out of obligation to my mother and say hi when my mom talks on the phone.
Would my grandmother count as a reportable foreign contact even though we don’t maintain a close relationship?
