The company that is sponsoring me for my DoS clearance emailed me today letting me know that my former FSO is no longer with the company and I have been assigned a new one, this happened back in January as well, so now I’m on FSO number 3…if there are any current or past FSOs out there is this normal? I understand people come and go but 3 FSOs since September…
Turn over is not unusual and depending on the size of the company, the FSO job may only be a part-time duty.
In any case, it will not affect your clearance process as FSO’s really have no input once your SF-86 goes to the government.
