Does anyone know if there is a way to check the status of the clearance? I accepted a job offer last May for a private company working with documents at an air force base. Went in at the beginning of May to submit all of my information. Over the past six months or so I’ve checked with the recruiter and security manager. They say I’m showing up as “Interim Clearance,” but I need full clearance for the job. They gave me a phone number to call, but when I called, I was told they couldn’t provide any information and instructed me to contact the security manager. Any information or advice is appreciated.
