Ts clearance dhs

Just wanted some opinions as I have horrible anxiety about my upcoming top-secret investigation

I was recently hired at DHS in a law enforcement position..

I am currently 30 years old was in the Air Force National Guard for five years honorably discharged. I worked part-time for two police departments, however was terminated/my offers were rescinded. They told me pre-hire that I would be paid for all my training once I get hired. They told me that I was not going to get paid so I freaked out and looked for another job. That employer wanted me to start at a certain date and I told him I could not because I had military training however it was because I had to attend the part-time police Academy. Subsequently I was discharged from both departments in 2017.

Since then I have rebounded successful law-enforcement career with multiple other agencies. Earning awards and being very decorated.

In 2023 and 2024 I filed my taxes late and have not been able to get on a payment plan with the IRS. They have not gotten back to me and with the government shut down I cannot reach anybody. I have made several random payments online to their website to show that I am willing to satisfy my debt. I also have a few few other things in collections that are under $3000 all to which I am either paying for or disputed.

My last agency this past year was very hostile and a horrible environment. We lost 125% of our staff in the past three years. I sit up when things were not ethically in morally right and intern they try pushing me out with ■■■■■■■■ internal affairs investigations. I got sick of the ■■■■■■■■ and left for another agency and got a promotion to the rank of Sgt that agency closed out all of those IAS cleared exceptionally and realized how bad they messed up so they paid me a big check and let me keep my canine.

What do you guys think? Will I be all right with suitability and my tier 5 investigation

I’ve never been arrested never have a speeding ticket. I rarely drink. I’ve used marijuana when I was a teenager. Maybe at the most five times I have no foreign contacts and nothing mental health related

Any feedback would help me breath..

My only comment would be to make sure you have documentation of your attempts to contact the IRS and any payments you have made, along with proof that you filed.
