@dave019 - no bamboo shoots. Just risk your own clearance. Federal law requires certain people and organizations to cooperate or lose access. General populace do not have to cooperate - but the lack of cooperation is reported.
@backgdinvestigator - executive order requires such cooperation⌠not law. 
So what happens if they canât find or Are not able to talk to refrences in France that knows about this? Just interested at this point.
@Nomor - You didnât list an alcohol charge from France on your sf-86. Now youâre stressed wondering if âtheyâ will find out about it. Let me be frank with you, no one on this forum can tell you with 100% certainty if it will be discovered or not. You gambled when you didnât list it, period. At this point, if all youâre getting is a tier 3 investigation (secret) the booze charge likely wonât surface; however, when you go through that ssbi and poly - youâre cooked.
