My poly is on Monday morning so I am trying to figure out what to do. Please let me know the best option in your opinion.

After speaking you all yesterday I wasn’t even planning to bring it up at all. Now I am second guessing that because of the last comment saying that they do review parts of my SF86 prior and could use that for the interrogation. I don’t want to be caught off guard and surprised with questions about my in-laws and there country affiliation and have not reported it or come off as being dishonest. It was reported to an investigator a week ago and when I got married in June after I submitted my original SF 86 which I am assuming they have. Now that I think about it they did mention on the phone when they scheduled my poly that they received my SF86. So what should I do in that case if the recent reported information gets brought up during the interview and it wasn’t in the SF 86 they have because at that time they weren’t my in-laws?
If the polygraph operator raises any questions about anything in your SF86, you can (and should) at that point candidly address them.
The reason I advise against volunteering information not asked for is that to an interrogator (and polygraph operators are simply glorified interrogators), it will tend to suggest that this is a sensitive issue for you and will invite further questioning.
As for whether the polygrapher reads the SF86, I stand by my statement that they don’t have the time to routinely read them. But they may well have time to skim them, and the topic of foreign contacts and travel is something that would likely be of primary interest for a CI-scope polygraph.

Hey everyone just an update. I had my CI poly this morning and from what the polygraph examiner said is that in his opinion I passed but it goes through a final approval. Some of the control questions threw up some movement I guess but he wasn’t concerned about it. Thanks for all the advice.
