Please excuse my ignorance. Ive been in a CACI bubble for a while now and so many contract companies have changed names and I have lost track of what is what. Can someone explain the difference between Paragon, Peraton, SCIS, Securitas, Keypoint? Ive heard these name being thrown around and sometimes used interchangeably and still havent figured out the difference.

Current name Peraton-Previous names for the same company-Kroll, Keypoint,Perspecta-4 names total.
Current name Paragon-Previous names for the same company-Securitas, SCIS and sometimes Parasys.
Possible reasons for name changes-Avoid lawsuits,which doesn’t seem to be working, or financial reasons like maybe moving money around or something like that.
There have also been buyouts and mergers causing name changes.
