Wife's foreign national family

Hello, I was curious if my wife’s family would have an effect on a TS clearance. My wife is a US citizen, and most of her immediate family are citizens as well, with the exception of her parents who have green cards. She is Vietnamese, and her family were refugees after the war. Her father was the first one to be cleared as he fought in the War on the US allied side, and subsequently lost his leg. My wife was born in the US, but her brothers and sisters were born in Vietnam. She also has a brother and sister residing in Australia. She has extended family in Vietnam as well. My question is would any of this be a dq during a ssbi? Thank you very much.

The fact that her parents are legal permanent residents in and of itself is not disqualifying, Adjudicators will look at the circumstances and determine whether there is a foreign influence concern.
