I am a current DoD Secret holder and a few months ago I accepted a CJO with the VA agency. I am a new college grad and I’m very hesitant to move across the country for a GOV job with everything going on. If I were to back out of the process at my current stage (still processing, completed poly and interviews) would I likely be blacklisted from the agency? Would I have issues in the future getting a TS?
I dont think anyone can answer the first question. I would like to think they would understand, given the circumstances. Maybe talk to your poc and sort of feel that situation out.
As for the second question, you wouldnt have any issues getting a clearance in the future, just based off withdrawing.
