Will I lose my SCI eligiibility? Crossover question

Hello, I’m pretty unfamiliar with how this process works, and I have a question about a clearance crossover. Currently, I have a TS/SCI with a poly in SC, but I was offered a job with a company that only requires a TS for an org using DISS.

If I take the job and have my clearance crossed over, will I lose my SCI and Poly eligibility since the new job only requires a TS? Does transferring between databases affect my clearance eligibility? If I want back into the job that required SCI later, will my eligibility still be in SC if I’m crossing back over from DISS? Thanks!

SCI is an access based on need to know and is agency scoped. If you leave that agency and you no longer need that access. They will remove you from the access list.

Hello, thanks for responding. I know that I’ll almost certainly lose SCI access, but will I also lose eligibility for SCI?
