Working Overseas

Can you work overseas for another company, while pending adjudication for another company? A opportunity has come open to work overseas while I’m pending adjudication for a different company. I have been pending adjudication since 05/23. I still want to work for the other company and receive my clearance. Is this possible will my adjudication cease or cause further delay? or do I need to stay stateside for work? Is pending adjudication the same as investigative phase? Do I need to report this to my FSO? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks!

I’m a little confused:

Company A, company you are currently working for…are you undergoing a clearance for Company A?

Company B, company which has a position overseas? Or does company A have a position overseas and you are waiting on a pending adjudication from Company B?

Either way, if you leave a company (or position) prior to the clearance being adjudicated most likely the process will stop due to you no longer needing a clearance. The out of country part is not relevant.

If you hold a clearance and leave the country that fact would need to be reported to your FSO.

RIght now I am working stateside, but I applied for different job(Company A) that is remote and requires me to work overseas 90 days out of the year and does not require a clearance.

Company B has the position completely overseas and I am pending adjudication from that I really want. I was thinking of working for Company A in the interim while I process for Company B

So, if I take Company A will that impact my clearance process for Company B?

Thank you for responding
