2 Crossovers in process, 2 diff companies, same sponsor

This may or may not be a unique situation due to the current market….

Background: I’ve signed SIX offer letters in the past 6 months. Two had positions pulled, another offer was pulled when the company didn’t win a re-compete (and didn’t disclose to me that little fact and started a crossover), two had the positions paused (still paused 5 months later), and the last one the 3 letter agency canceled the position the day my crossover completed!

I have two companies offering me positions now for the same 3 letter agency. After being burned so many times, I want to know if I should accept both and let both start crossovers.

The dilemma is two fold. 1. Do I need to let both companies know? I’m concerned that one or both will withdraw their offers. 2. Will this cause issues with the 3 letter agency? If so, can these issues be avoided?

I’ve turned down multiple competing offers after signing the six offers. And of course they were gone by the time the competing offer was rescinded or paused. Six months of unemployment has not been in any way shape or form fun. It’s been disastrous financially. I don’t want to lose another position if one of these doesn’t work out!

Thanks!

Watching this one, I’m close to a similar position.

Not sure why someone hasn’t answered this yet……

What do you mean cause issues with 3 letter agency? Didn’t you say that they cancelled the position?

The agency is only concerned with crossover. Once it’s in the system you are good to go. Then choose the job you want. You don’t need to let anyone know. Any FSO can see who is sponsoring you if they simply look. That’s on them.

My question is: Can I have 2 crossovers in process at the same time (2 different contracting companies, same 3-letter client).

My concern is that if I tell these contracting companies that I have will have 2 crossovers in process, they will both cancel the offers. Or they tell me to choose one. Then I do and the client cancels or pauses the position/contract (it’s happened SIX f*$king times!) and then I’m stuck with NO job again because the other company has filled the position with another candidate (it’s happened SIX f*$king times!) .

If having 2 cross-overs in process at the same time is a no-no, then I will be forced to tell one of the companies I have accepted another offer and hope it actually happens. And frankly, I’ve lost most of my ability to hope after 7 months of unemployment.

Hope that clarifies the situation.

There should be no problem but if you look at the ppl now in charge of the IC and agencies, nothing would surprise me.
