I just received TS but current job not require - TS is for task that may not materialize. Can I claim active clearance? Based on definition given at site sounds like no.
You may have a completed background investigation that gives eligibility for a TS if needed, but unless you are specifically granted it by the adjudicating agency then you cannot claim an active TS. But you can explain you are eligible for one based on the completed appropriate level of investigation.
