Received my clearance from NSA less than a year ago. Currently have an offer from an NSA contractor, but they need NSA to review and approve my clearance. Anyone ever go through something like this?
Thanks!

Yup, it can take forever or it can take a few days. I been waiting on adjudication with them for over 6 months now. I took another position elsewhere.
Did you get your clearance from NSA?
What’s there to adjudicate if they already issued you a clearance?
You still have to go through the pipeline for suitability, poly and PIV/CAC.
I already did suitability and poly less than a year ago. What is PIV/CAV?
Until you start on a job, there is no clearance. That is “usually” how it works if it’s your initial.
PIV/CAC is your access card/identification cards. Usually it’s a pretty speedy process, but can depend on your security office sending up the forms in a timely matter.
Got it. I appreciate the insight. Thanks!
Of course! Good luck and best wishes!
