Are SSBI's transferrable?

I have recently completed an T5 SSBI, however the job that I currently have does not require a TS clearance but only a SECRET. I am thinking going for TS positions. Will having already gone through the SSBI facilitate me get a TS should I get offered a position that requires one? Are SSBIs tranferable across different agencies? (i.e. if one agency conducted the investigation do normal reprocity rules apply should another agency extend a job offer)
