@Dima Good luck with the letter. Let us know how it turns out.
@archaeochica
So, I have read a few times here that after people contacted their senators, they got a response either from the senator’s team that they got your letter and are trying to do something or from the investigators themselves because… well… they were reminded of your existence.
It’s only been a little over 2 weeks for me when I sent my letter and if I don’t get any kind of response from anyone, say a month from now, should I just wait for things to progress naturally or should I write another one at some point? Would it somehow make the process even longer? It’s been a year since I sent my SF86 for a TS and they started investigation.
Just write to all of them.
I don’t have any advice on contacting senators. I’ve not done it and I am not sure that I will. It seems like I submitted my SF86 in October 18, and they were working with it in January/February. It seems to depend on the agency and the individual and your information in the SF86. I will say, waiting is difficult. Hang in there!
