CACI all hands?

I doubt it would be Peraton because they have held 1st place for the last 4 quarters.

I’ve heard horror stories about CACI…don’t do it. Peace of mind over a dollar.

It’s awful. They truly undermine and treat their employees like crap. Constantly asking and expecting more, more, more. And then some more. Not worth it.

Don’t let this job stress you out. Do your best to ignore management and their often out of touch unrealistic expectations of human behavior, human activities, and overall reading comprehension of the general public. Those who have not worked the filed for several years have preconceived inaccurate notions of how people react when participating in investigations. It’s a somewhat interesting job with daily variation, flexibility, and decent pay considering the flexibility. Realize that what you are doing isn’t really all that important and don’t let the ridiculous minutia drive you bonkers. Gotta go now. I have to confront a Subject as to why he listed his job title as “woodworker” when his employment record reflected “carpenter”

Hahahaha woodworker v carpenter…all true!

Hahaha…I swear that is all these investigations are good for, to catch “mistakes” like that.

I’m preparing myself for the inevitable day when I get asked to confront the Subject as to why the they only listed the 6 digit zip code and not the 10 digit zip code for a location/mailing address/residence. So many of the under 25 age group don’t even know what zip codes are!!!

Too bad there has never been a line between legitimate and idiotic information collection.

This is too realistic that it’s not even funny. Ha.

Peraton (SCIS) or paragon (perspecta)? It so confusing now

CACI is destroying themselves, and I just wish I could get out.

EXACTLY WHAT THEY DID.

As a level 2, I now make almost the same as a level 1.

Yup. My level 3 coworker got a significant increase. I (level 2) got nothing and a “try to become a 3”. What an absolute joke of a company. Frank and Andy and company should be ashamed.

They arent ashamed. They cant hear us peasants when they are sitting on their throne of profits

I have never been so furious in my life.

I was also told to try to get level 3 and I flat out said NO. I am not going to produce at 3 for months just to get told (again) oh your quality was 1 point too low.

I make about a dollar more an hour than my friend who is a level one here.

What is worse, every level 2 is at the same. So that level 2 on my team who JUST GOT IT last month makes as much as I do now.

I was already on the fence about this job, because they want too much, and this was just salt in the wound. A level 1 is at 23.xx 2 is 24-25.xx, and a level 3 is 36?! they couldnt even get us up to 26-30?

First world problems I guess. I just tidied up that old resume, it is about to get so much action.

Just found out today I will never get another raise unless I become an Investigator 3. The management is a bunch of soulless psychopaths. Do they not realize how hard it is to maintain at that level and there are some of us that choose not to stress ourselves to death. So basically unless you’re willing to make CACI your only priority in life you will never get a raise. My suggestion to Level 2 workers is to NEvER do more than 4.7 testimonies per day and immediately begin the job hunt because it will never ever get better with this pathetic management in place.

100%.

I have already been applying to jobs. At this point I don’t even care if I meet their “minimum requirements” because technically I had no idea what I was doing when I got picked up for this job and my only qualification is I had a degree and got a clearance, and I am great at this - and received subpar training lol.

I am asking tomorrow to drop to level 1. The whole point of getting to level 2 was a payrate equivalent to the amount of work. TF I look like having more work (and multiple contracts and VTC assignments) and making a dollar more that a lvl 1 only on DCSA?

No thanks bro, I will lose a dollar an hour and lose all the stress even in this environment it is almost impossible to hit a level 3 around this area unless you luck out 3 months in a row and get nothing except 19 year old kids who are homebodies or 5Rs with NO updates.

I admittedly could very easily make Level 3 stats, but I have never shown any interest in making the move because it used to be more financially beneficial for me to stay a 2 while making up more than the difference in bonuses (remember those??). Now I don’t want to do it out of principle.

I actually asked and receive a level move down years ago. I think management was shocked. I was moving to a new area and didn’t have a clue what my commute time, production, and new manager would be like. I wanted to have solid performance stats under a new manager and the money wasn’t that significant. It worked in my favor. About 18 months later layoffs came around and I was not laid off. I can only assume those who did not have solid stats were the ones laid off. If enough people asked for level downs, it would certainly hurt the company.

Let us know how it goes asking for a level down. I’m pretty sure my section lead won’t let me, but I just may ask to be reduced to part-time status so I can have the extra time to find a job with a company that actually appreciates its workers.
