Same for me. Level 2 investigator always on platinum, on all contracts, mentor, checkrides, you name it I do it. Told 0% pay increase. Yet my coworkers who continuosly done meet stats got 22% pay increase! 22%!!!
I left CACI and the BI field after 23 years, best thing ever. I’m back at my old salary with 10% of the stress, I actually enjoy going to work.
LOL…it is difficult to keep track of who is who with all the name changes.
That is the stuff that makes me nuts!!!
Peraton formerly Perspecta and Paragon, SCIS… IT is confusing lol
I don’t see how anyone in management can tell an employee that cannot be demoted or level down. Personal family issues happen everywhere and people need to reduce workloads for various reasons all the time. Best to go straight to HR if management says “no” to any request for less work and less pay. They immediately say “no” probably because it’s a lot of work for them to process and it reflects poorly on their leadership/management.
Of course they’ll give pushback. Lower level = less work being turned over. Less work = less money for the company. Why the lack of raise for level twos and big jump in pay to level 3? Level 3 = more work. More work/ cases being turned over = more money for the company. It’s clear as day. Your/ our work is only appreciated because while we lowlies make way less than they can afford, management and high uppers roll it in. If you’re in this for genuine thank yous and constant pats on the back, you’re in the wrong place. Caci is a money making machine and that’s it. That’s all there is to it. (As is with most/ all companies but Caci is notoriously horrendous at being a good employer). I still think back and chuckle at that 25 cent backpack they sent all of us.
