I’ve been granted T/S clearance for over a year and am working in a position that requires it in my agency. I had interview with another company under a DoD contract, and when they try to verify i had T/S on DISS they found me to only have secret clearance. Is this common between different agencies? Anyone know how I can get that updated?

Not all agencies automatically post clearance data to DISS. However I am not sure where that secret clearance came from.

In some cases you may be able to get your information loaded to DISS if you can show that you need to visit sites that use DISS to verify clearances. Maybe.
