I recently got an SOR from DOD. However, I got a lawyer to respond to the SOR, when they respond. The government wants me to come in for a hearing. Can anyone tell me why they want me to come for a hearing, and is it better to have a lawyer present?strong text
Yes - Hire a security clearance lawyer - Remember it is your life you are defending (your lawyer is defending you and your future). The DoD will have their own lawyers in order to say why you should not have a clearance.
