Anyone here with experience regarding having their clearance process expedited?

I have been in a DOE job now for 8 months and was told they have expedited my Q clearance because they want me to travel to places where it’s required to get in the door.

Just wondering if makes any difference. thx

Expedited gets your case started sooner, but not necessarily quicker.
