My accesses were suspended and I got put on admin leave pending suspension in 30 days (indefinite suspension while DCSA AVS reviews and adjudicates) an incident report. I’m wanting to DRP instead of going without pay and apply back to the IC when it’s favorably adjudicated, but fear that would put me into LOJ purgatory based on Katie’s recent article.
I’d rather have my clearance than the DRP. If having an unadjudicated IR makes getting another cleared job unlikely, maybe I should stay with my current agency and wait it out in suspension and jump out later?
I’ve been ts since 2018 and feel very sure there will be a favorable adjudication. I was suspended (in very brief) for asking too many questions while waiting for sap access, and requesting extended access to the scif so I could bank hours while on maxiflex. None of what I did seemed weird to me as a longtime ts 3 letter, but in my new agency it triggered the folks in the sap and I was not well informed on what the boundaries were because I wasn’t read on. I’m not happy with the situation but feel stuck.
