I told the security person on the phone that I only filled out the sf86 on paper and the company enter the information in e-QIP.

The security person told me that some heads will roll because only you can submit the information in the system and it is against the law for someone else to submit the information in e-QIP. He wanted names.

Is that true?

A way for trusted 3rd parties to enter information on behalf of the subject was implemented by OPM for foreign nationals who do not have a social security number.

Companies should not be entering data into EQIP on your behalf.
