So obviously the Eqip is offline- estimated timeframe on the OPM webpage is 4-6 weeks. I’ve seen some info on other websites about OPM allowing paper SF-86 submissions. I can only image that can of worms (like how coverage will be scheduled through PIPS). And I am wondering if OPM will be releasing any work to contractors during this time. Anyone in the know?
KGS and CACI were told there is enough backlog to take care, depending on your Geo location however, no new cases until the equip is up and running.
Back in the day, data transcribers screened the paper applications for completeness and entered them manually into PIPS.
