This is more of a vent session. I’m a FT employee at one of the primes, and I’m cleared on every contract. My workload is the lowest it’s ever been since I’ve been in the field, yet the metric expectation remains the same. How can I meet ‘X’ amount of interviews per week, if I’m being offered less than ‘X’? Sigh. Unfortunately, a lot of the items I’ve been assigned lately have been write offs as well. My numbers are going to be horrid for this month.
Are other full timers in the same boat? I’m sure everything will pick up again within the next few weeks because of the fiscal year, but I am outrageously bored in the meantime, and can’t wait to hear my manager give me an earful for not meeting metrics.
As an applicant for a 3-letter this totally makes sense. I completed every stage of the process except my BI was not initiated. My offer was rescinded due to the hiring freeze. Now they are slowly starting to call all these people back. We have been told we dont need to “re-interview” but have to do everything else. I’d assume your workload will likely start to pick back up in October.
Yeah my workload is very low. I’ve done 3 ESIs all month, I usually do 3 a week….and yet I get emails from my manager asking for more production, I told him I only get assigned in person attempts for unresponsive sources/record providers….he basically told me that was no excuse. I’m seriously getting close to a breaking point with this company. I have no idea why they are still pushing production metrics.
