It was a firestorm that I decided not to start. Good luck to all the BI’s holding out hope to go back to work. It’s not going to happen until there are mass layoffs and a smaller footprint created.

Well, the number that people had mentioned from ACBI’s conference, 6,000 of BI’s with work available for only 2,000… that solidified my expectations. It’s simple, if extra amount of people were brought on for an oversized project, those people are no longer needed once the project is no longer there or is downsized… there is work for BI’s on alternate contracts, but not everyone is going to be able to get on them as the clients are picky about which investigators they want.
