It is VERY important to read questions carefully and answer everything fully and accurately. Anything developed that is discrepant from the security questionnaire is an honesty issue. Depending on the topic and what is left out or inaccurate, they may deny the clearance.
Threatening to kill yourself, well this creates a new issue in the psychological section. No the government doesn’t care in the slightest that they hurt your feelings. If you think a government job is worth your life, you may want to research government jobs a little more because you may have some bad information.
I’m literally the perfect candidate for a clearance, probably better than you.
I get nothing but remarks of being an honest person through my life.
I look and search really hard to bring up something that explains why, apparently, I was not telling the truth. It’s ambiguous content that literally isn’t a problem hence I did not bring it up. Now the government violates me further like some sort of terrorist and denies my clearance and even a retake. They irrationally just assume everything too.
I could program a machine to do better vetting.
It’s plain stupid and most people don’t like working for idiots.
@Neuro Yes. The clearance process is mean and unjust. They intentionally try to make it difficult and make you uncomfortable throughout the entire process.
It is not for the thin-skinned. If you can’t handle a simple suitability denial, you should re-evaluate your goals.
Attacking me isn’t going to change anything. I did not adjudicate anything. I’m telling you, as an investigator, how it works. Discrepancies equal honesty issues. You’re not the one who gets to decide whether content is relevant to an investigation. The government decides that and they have that authority because they’re the one granting the clearance. If you thinks it’s stupid, that’s perfectly fine and that’s your right. I wonder however, if “most people don’t like working for idiots” then why are you so upset? Consider the denial a blessing so you don’t have to work for idiots and move on.
Suicide threat, personal attacks, etc. If I was the adjudicator and I saw this, I would probably recommend a psych eval, for your own good. Hopefully you’re just being over-dramatic…
On another note: I did just notice your handle: “Neuro.” so, fitting…
Right, because only honest, dronelike people, okay with being subject to whatever they are unjustly put through, are qualified for a security clearance- a highly honorable thing that I should not have because im not a good person.
I actually already had a way better job and life lined up while doing the clearance and used the polygraph as a free flight to my new location. I was never going to take the job.
I just don’t like being denied a security clearance, because by all means and purposes, for the sake of my country, there is literally no reason why I would not be eligible for one. Not only a dumb decision but a dumb process that influences perfectly qualified people to fail.
Each one of your new responses is worse than the previous one, and you are just making it more and more apparent why you were correctly denied. This latest response blatantly admits that you are ok with knowingly and willingly defrauding the government, and there are multiple parts of your other responses that are very obvious signs/symptoms of at least two issues I can think of in the DSM-5. To be quite frank, you should seek the help of a mental health professional for your own good.
