My interim TS was withdrawn and I was granted an interim secret. Not sure why. No financial or legal issues. My original TS ended 01/2016 and I had to resubmit a new e-qip. Does anyone know why this would happen?
It is possible that your current position simply does not require a top secret clearance.
Ineptitude, incompetence, and bureaucratic muddling cannot be ruled out either.
