Left one job - took another a few months later

I was being investigated for TS/SCI when I had to leave my position for personal reasons. I started working for a different company a few months later and they just had them adjudicate my investigation - both were for the DoD. Originally it was for TS/SCI when I left in January of this year and adjudicated in May of this year. Would it be only for TS or would it have been adjudicated for TS/SCI?

Technically once you leave a seat they should have turned it off. But if it is as you posted that the other job just picked up the sponsorship…it depends on what their position requires. The clearance goes with the seat, eligibility goes with the person. Eligibility is a fancy (confusing) way of saying you had a BI and they think you are trustworthy. So if the new job requires the same clearance and SCI access…you would get read in to that SCI.
