I submitted my SF86 on July 8, 2019. Had my interview with my background investigator on July 22, 2019. Was told I received clearance on October 23, 2019.
This is for a background investigator position.

To get your clearance that quick, you must have a very clean background, no?
A few credit issues from several years ago during a divorce, and didn’t file state taxes a couple years ago. I didn’t owe any taxes, was due a refund, but apparently didn’t file them for that year, which I noticed once I started checking things in preparation for getting clearance. I filed them right away once I noticed. Credit stuff was mostly about ten years old, other than about a $100 medical bill on my credit which I paid right away. No drug, criminal, foreign contact or work history problems.
Something else that I think helped was the fact that I’ve had the same job for 22 years and lived in the same house for 11. And I helped my investigator set up all the interviews of my co workers, references and neighbors all in one day, along with my interview.
