Non-sensitive (NS)/Low Risk

Any FSO out there have the estimated timeline for the adjudication process for a Non-sensitive (NS)/Low Risk investigation?

Depends on the requesting Agency. Clean no issue cases that meet the e-Adjudication requirements get it done automatically as soon as it closes. If sent to the agency and reviewed by an adjudicator it could be two days or two months, depends on the agency, their backlog, and what if any, issues are present.

Shouldnt be that long as it does not have sensitive duties involving public trust or national security and does not need access to classified national security information (CNSI) I think most FSOs deal with possessing or non-possessing facilities but most still need a clearance. Finance or HR type positions often meet what you describe and as Marko indicated, should be relatively soon
