Paragon Layoffs

You need a lawyer or at least labor advice. Maybe you local department of labor federal or state office. Hope you are in a labor friendly state.

If you are interested in moving to contracting, I just jumped from Paragon to EMT Holdings and was able to give notice on Friday and move to EMT Holdings the next week. Not sure if that works for everyone, but since we were still all under CACI it was an easy shift. EMT paperwork was all digital and they pay weekly. So far so good, 2 weeks in. Much prefer the no stress of every Friday of wondering what was next to drop. Good luck.

So does anyone know the status of Paragon? I just joined the ‘former’ club, and I could tell there were others let go before me, the week before and even the week before that. Not to mention the folks who pretty much said they were jumping ship after the insurance premiums increased 3-400% Are they closing shop? About to be acquired? I hope everyone can get picked up.

They are prime on DHS. Cant see why they would close business.

But submitting almost every case late and never meeting production goals. Can’t be getting much money on that contract.

Who is ever running the show should have been the next to get to boot because whoever it is, they’re running this company to the ground. The sad part is, leadership will just be recycled to other leadership positions with the subs anyway. They should go back to the field with us “peasants” and learn what real hard work truly is.

The demise of Paragon is like watching a sick animal die a slow agonizing death. The only people left are the ones waiting for unemployment or the ones who are new and haven’t a clue about what’s going on. Honestly I’ve never seen a company drag out a closure to this extent.

I can’t imagine the DHS contract earning enough profit to sustain a business, when every case get attempted remotely by investigators in other states first, then reassigned to holding pattern for a local attempt, in which there is no one to work them anyway.

I had multiple cases assigned that were multiple months overdue after I had done all of my leads on time.
