Past Employers Never Filled Out Verification Forms?

Hi there. Currently in the process of a Secret from DOS. DCSA sent out automatic mailers to previous employers in the past 7 years but apparently some of them never got it or never filled it out.

I’m told by my PI that what happens is that DCSA just writes it off after a few months of no response-- DPs on Reddit seem to concur, and that’s nothing derogatory.

Anyone here knows how long that is? Like, how many months does DCSA wait to write if off if they don’t get a filled employment verification form back from employers? Literally that’s the only thing that’s getting me stuck, so super appreciative of any tips.

4 months for me. But I’m lucky like that.

Answering my own question here-- 4 months is about right. Initiated 9/15 and went to adjudication 1/23 with multiple employers who never responded to verification forms.
