At least some 1099 Peraton contractors were not paid yesterday (Friday) for fees submitted and approved the week prior - the 1099 version of the company not making payroll. Hopefully it is some sort of IT glitch. Was the company able to pay regular (W-2/salaried) investigators on time this week?
I didn’t know anyone was getting work that would create payments. I haven’t had work in at least a month.

I’m wondering how they are deciding who gets work because I haven’t gotten assigned a single item in over a month either.

I’m in a pretty big area and am getting occasional in-person attempts for stuff remote investigators failed to complete. Not enough to keep the bills paid but better than nothing and not sustainable in the long term.

I am also getting some minor work for in-person attempts for things remote investigators failed to complete. It also helps in times like this to: 1. be available for ANY type of work and have no restrictions. 2. have multiple creds for all the different contracts. 3. stay in touch with the boss from time to time. Even with all this, work is sparse but at least there is some.
Not a pay day week. Didn’t get an expense payment, though…
